What did you like most about CIS Academy?

I really enjoyed participating in school activities and on the School Site Council. I felt like I could really express my ideas and be myself.

 

What made you successful at CIS Academy?

I benefited from the flexible and caring staff and teachers on the campus. My Master Teacher always kept up with me and guided me to success.

 

What are you currently up to?

I am currently attending CIT Nursing School in Hollywood California. I have already earned the CNA Nursing License and I am currently taking classes to complete my Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.

 

What career skills did you take away from your CIS Academy experience?

CIS taught me the importance of planning and organization. These skills have been crucial in my continuing education to become a nurse.

What did you like most about CIS Academy?

The Teachers were very helpful in helping me stay on task and get my classes completed.

 

What made you successful at CIS Academy?

The scheduling of seminars allowed me time to complete my work and get additional help when needed.

 

What are you currently up to?

I am currently working for a national insurance company in the Business Development department and I am on track to be promoted to a Business Administrator. 

 

What career skills did you take away from your CIS Academy experience?

CIS taught me how to communicate with others and take responsibility for my actions. The computer skills I learned at CIS have really helped me succeed in my current position.

What did you like most about CIS Academy?

The communication between teachers and students at CIS is great. The flexibility to get work done helped me complete my high school diploma. The teachers are really in-tune with your life and know how to help you.

 

What made you successful at CIS Academy?

My Master teacher, Mr. Q kept it real for me. His guidance helped me succeed and to change my communication style when dealing with others.

 

What are you currently up to?

I am currently working towards becoming a Special Education teacher, working with elementary students with a focus on children that have autism. 

 

What career skills did you take away from your CIS Academy experience?

CIS Academy shaped my character and gave me a positive outlook for my future. The communication skills I have learned help me succeed in the real world.
