Graduation Requirements

All PUSD students must complete all three requirements to graduate with a high school diploma:

1.   220 Credits of Required Coursework

2.   40 hours of Community Service or Work-Based Learning (WBL)

3.   Graduate Portfolio and Defense

At CIS Academy we are an alternative school that has a non traditional education setting. Students have an environment to do their classes independently through an online program. Students enrolled at CIS Academy have more opportunities to make up courses during the school year versus only in summer. Also students with extreme circumstances can repeat Senior year to have more time to reach the credits needed to graduate. School counselor, administrator and students will all have to agree to contract to be placed on an alternative track as a second year senior.
